DL Dashboard ("the app") is a companion tool for Widget Pilots covering seniority bid lookup, pay tracking, and flight logbook records. This page explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and what it never does with your data.
Account information
Creating an account requires a username and password. You may optionally provide your first name, last name, employee number, and email address — these are used only to personalize your view of the app and, if provided, to receive replies to support messages you send us. Passwords are stored as salted cryptographic hashes; we cannot see or recover your actual password.
Pay Analysis
When you upload a pay statement PDF, it is parsed entirely in your device's browser or app — the file itself is never uploaded to or stored on our servers. Your name, employee ID, and any bank account details are stripped out before anything is sent. Only the pay period dates and dollar amounts (gross pay, deductions, taxes, net pay, 401(k) contributions) are stored against your account, so you can track trends over time. You can delete any individual pay period, or all of your pay data at once, at any time from the app.
Logbook
Pilot Activity Summary (PAS) files you upload are parsed to extract flight records (dates, flight numbers, aircraft type, block times, landings, etc.) and stored against your account so the app can build your logbook dashboard. You can delete uploaded files and their associated flight records at any time.
Seniority list and Advanced Entitlement (AE) data
The seniority list and AE award data shown in the app are company-wide reference data, not personal data we collect from you. Pilot names in seniority views are hidden by default.
AI assistant (opt-in)
If you're granted access to the AI question-answering feature, questions you submit are sent to Anthropic's Claude API (api.anthropic.com) to generate an answer, along with relevant excerpts of reference documents already available in the app. This feature is off by default and requires admin approval to enable. Usage is rate-limited and logged for abuse prevention.
On-device offline storage
The native app caches a copy of your current seniority list, AE data, logbook, and pay data on your device in an encrypted local database, so the app keeps working without a connection. This cache never leaves your device, refreshes automatically when you're back online, and is permanently deleted when you sign out.
Logs
We keep basic sign-in and error logs (timestamp, username, IP address, and error details) for security and troubleshooting purposes. These are not used for tracking, advertising, or analytics, and are periodically purged.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.
- We do not run advertising or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs.
- We do not store your original pay statement or bank account details, ever.
